Napa Valley is widely considered one of the top wine-producing areas in California and all of the United States. TheNapa Valley lodging history of this area dates back to the early nineteenth century. By the end of that century there were more than one hundred and forty wineries in the area. But there’s one unique way to enjoy the beauty of the valley, and that’s the Napa Valley wine train. The train provides a relaxing three-hour journey along a 36 mile round-trip between the historic town of Napa to the quaint village of St. Helena and back. Guests have the option of a freshly prepared lunch or dinner as they pass by the vineyards and wineries.

But Yountsville, a small village in Napa Valley, is one of the area’s highlights. The town is known for its world-class restaurants and has earned the unofficial title of ‘Culinary Capital of the Napa Valley’. Located within walking distance of the town’s luxurious hotels and inns, there is plenty of activities, shopping, and wineries to choose from.
