Who doesn’t love a good wine sampled in a beautiful location? Maine is known for its wines made from blueberries, apples and other delicious fruits. There are over twenty vineyards on the coast of Maine and many of them offer free samples of their delicious wines. Go check some or all of them out!

Cellardoor Winery at the Vineyard is only 5 miles from Camden Harbour. The winery sits on a sixty acre farm and has been around for almost a century. Come enjoy the complimentary wine tastings they offer everyday throughout the year. Why not try a wine making class? Class fees are based on whether you want to take home a kit for future winemaking.

Winterport Winery’s tasting room is now open for their ninth season. Go by and sample some of their “local flavor”. The winery is closed January through February so the summer and fall seasons are perfect for stopping by.

Located on Sweet Pea farm in Bar Harbor, Bar Harbor Cellars Winery began as a part of the owners’ commitment to sustainable agriculture. The beautiful vineyard is open mid-May through October.
