Four Seasons of Fun

There are few places in the US that feature four-season activities and amenities. We were researching a trip to New England and happened across some information on North Conway, NH.

Nestled at the base of the White Mountains – North Conway is truly a town for all seasons. Nearby Mt. Washington is the tallest peak in the east at 6,288 feet and is the perfect setting for your outdoor adventures. With over 700,000 acres – White mountain National Forest offers the best in year-round activities.

Warm weather activities are abundant and you can expect world-class fishing, hiking, climbing, canoeing, camping, shopping and leaf-peeping. In the colder months dog sledding, snowmobing, skiing and snowboarding are must-do on your vacation agenda.

Consider taking advantage of the following activities, attractions and lodging options while vacationing in North Conway.

Activities:

  • Shop at Settler’s Green Outlet Village or White Mountain Outlet Stores
  • Although you have to make reservations to enjoy this living history farm, Chester Eastman is the place to see the old days come alive. Be sure to make this part of your trip to the area.

    • Attractions:

  • Santa’s Village - spend a whole day in a place where it’s Christmas Morning every day of the year.
  • Bananna Village is the ONLY year-round activity park and it boasts miniature golf, waterslides and more – a must-do for the whole family

    • North Conway NH Lodging Options:

  • North Conway NH Bed and Breakfast Lodging at Peace With Inn B&B. Located 15 minutes east of town, it’s the perfect home-base for a wide variety of attraction and activity options.
  • If camping is more your scene – try Saco River Camping Area - they have wifi – and that’s my kind of camping!
