My family and I are happily tucked into one of the best Aspen Hotels we have ever stayed at, here at the base if Buttermilk Mountain. It’s called the Inn at Aspen. We are slopeside to where the X-games are held…for my kids…even though X-games isn’t going on yet, the terrain park is still up and running and the park is really long and fun, with lots of kickers and rails, and all sorts of fun amusing stuff, that the whole family can enjoy. Elaine:
Los Islotes is a wonderful magical place. The best way to get there is via panga, about 30 min north of La Paz. The pangaderos will take you there, or you can arrange a charter. I think it runs about $ 65 a 3/4 day pp trip, and that includes lunches (not gourmet) but does not include a tip for the pangadero. Snorkelling equipment can be rented at many many places in town, or at some of the nicer hotels. I have been going there for years, and I do not leave La Paz without taking at least one trip to Los Isotes.
WONDERFUL!! Don’t forget to bring a light windbreaker/ or jacket, extra T shirt, and a camera if possible.

Navarre Beach is a small family-friendly community with a total of two restaurants and water front bars where tourists and locals gather to watch the sunset or play volleyball. With miles of sugar white sand beach it is pristine and peaceful but only a short drive to Destin or Pensacola Beach. This is where you want to take your family!

I hate to say this, but I cancelled a holiday to the Cymen holidays a few years ago, because I couldn’t get the right flights. the accomodation was booked and paid for and i was sure I would get cheap filights.

I have never considered a train before whilst travling in the USA. I presume there are no extra charges for carrying my skis and the transport or the train station to the slopes

Also what sort of time does it take? The good news is there is no being at the airport 2 hours before you fly, I would imagine you just get on the train.

My last question is, how flexible are the times? is it every day departure or specific days.

I am sure your readers will be interested in these questions also.

I go to St. John, it’s beautiful, I definitely would tell a friend to visit! But now you are REQUIRED to have a passport to enter. Also if you plan on visiting the BVI you need a passport to dock there as well.

I am a Canadian and will be going to the States in a few weeks. Once I’m there I will be flying to another state (MA to CA). Do I need a passport to fly in between states if I’m not an American citizen, or is a birth certificate and driver’s license fine? Thanks.

I am a Canadian citizen and my family wants to go to Hawaii. Some of them don’t have their passports so we thought if we could fly out of the states (go across the border and fly out of Seattle) and into Hawaii we won’t need to have the passports? Is this true? Also, my sister just had a baby, are babies required to have passports? Basically if you are flying out of the states and you are a Canadian, is the passport required?

Hi Gina - and everyone else - any flight between 2 states still considered part of the 51 states that make us the US does not require a passport - travelling to any country not considered part of the US requires a passport for re-entry to the United States - I hope this helps!

Hi Kathryn,
Until 2008 a US citizen may drive across the border between Canada & the US without a passport. With you being Canadian citizens - I’m not sure how that works - I found this URL about Canadians traveling to the US - you may need to call someone to find out if this applies to vehicular travel also.

I am wondering both my husband and I are Canadians, we don’t have our passports yet. But a opportunity has come up for us to drive to New York and then fly to Florida, after the trip we would then return back to New York and drive back to Canada again. Will we need a passport flying between inside the states or will be ok because we are not leaving the States just going to different states by plane? But we are Canadian so I wanted to check. We are working on getting our passports but they wont be ready in time so we will lose out otherwise. Thanks for any help you could give me

I am a US resident that was born in Mexico. I will be traveling to Mexico for a vacation by plane and returning back into the USA by plane. Do I need a passport to get back into the USA? Do I get my passport at the same place my finacee gets hers (She IS a USA national born citizen) ?
