Road Travel Information by State

The links below take you to the Department of Transportation website for each individual state. Although the information may vary, you can expect to find road conditions, construction alerts, road and bridge closures and weather on them. Many include maps and other useful resources for travelers, as well.

Colorado Department of Transportation - Wise drivers checking here first for road closures and traffic alerts before heading into the Rockies. Snow storms, avalanches, rock slides, accidents and seasonal road closures are not uncommon in the mountains.

Massachusetts Highway Department – MassHighway offers all the usual resources and then throws in some unusual twists, like the section on the history and construction of bridges in the state.
